The Alfa Acoustics fully anechoic chambers are designed for research and precise sound measurements in a free-field acoustic environment. These chambers provide high sound transmission loss (STL) characteristics and have a completely anechoic wedge-lined interior to meet ISO 3745 / ISO 26101 standard requirements.
The sound absorption wedges used by Alfa Acoustics are optimized PU Foam wedges, Melamine foam, or Polyester Wedges. These materials provide very high sound absorption across the frequency range of interest.
For maximum sound insulation, our rooms are designed as a room within a room lined with high-quality acoustic materials. The inner room is set on a vibration isolation system created for the specific weight and frequency cut-off of the room.
These chambers are designed for applications and locations where the noise reduction characteristics for a single wall and ceiling construction provide adequate noise isolation.
Alfa Acoustics provides Anechoic chambers, Hemi-anechoic chambers, Reverberation chambers, Mini anechoic chambers, and Silent Rooms (Jury Testing) for Sound Quality Analysis.
Alfa Acoustics also provides testing / qualification of these chambers using HBK Test instruments.
